About our the Team
M2educate was born out of urgency. As families transverse education from preschool through Graduate school, a gargantuan amount of information must be processed. Often families feel isolated as they travel through unchartered waters. Whether a family has chosen a day school, public school, Montessori school, faith-based school, or homeschool environment, the growing concept of globalism shaping our nation is impacting the American Educational System.
M2educate's founder, Michelle Merryman, compassionately began identifying feelings; specific to how children might be feeling in these rigorous educational environments. Students in America are pushed to extraordinary measures, to learn at a faster pace and to test constantly; with little opportunity for discussion, reflection, or time to have questions answered. Michelle also feels immense compassion for the teachers; some of whom are strapped to meet rigorous standards without time to creatively approach the subject matter. Could it be the factory mentality has set foot within our American classrooms?
M2educate was formed to address the student's well-being FIRST. Fluid intelligence is being hampered in such a way that crystalized intelligence is being hindered. This is not acceptable.
Just as Socrates valued wisdom gained by asking questions, M2educate encourages the Socratic Method as students deserve more time to allow concepts to marinade, more time to have questions answered, and more time to critically analyze content.
M2educate's bespoke approach allows students to engage in an educational echo chamber. Together we will roll up our sleeves and allow our students to experience a renaissance of thought.
Alexander Merryman brings an interdisciplinary approach to education shaped by science, business, leadership, service, and the arts. His own educational journey has placed him within some of the nation’s most rigorous academic environments, beginning with his 2021 graduation from the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology (GSMST). At the time of his graduation, GSMST was ranked the No. 1 public high school in Georgia and No. 9 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
In 2026, Alexander graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with Highest Honors, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees: Neuroscience, complemented by a minor in Health & Medical Sciences, and Business Administration, with a concentration in Strategy & Innovation. This intersection of science and business continues to shape the way he approaches education—not simply as the transfer of information, but as a process of understanding how individuals learn, how organizations improve, and how young people develop the confidence to pursue increasingly ambitious goals.
Education has remained a defining part of Merryman’s time at Georgia Tech. For more than three years, he served as an undergraduate teaching assistant in neuroscience, responsible for supporting students, leading instruction, and assisting professors. His commitment to teaching was recognized with the 2025 Neuroscience Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Award. Across those years, he worked with hundreds of students and developed a teaching philosophy centered on clarity, accountability, encouragement, and helping students become increasingly independent learners.
Beyond the classroom, Alexander served for two years as President of Georgia Tech Motorsports, Georgia Tech’s Formula SAE racing organization. Leading a multidisciplinary team of more than 100 students required him to integrate engineering, finance, operations, organizational strategy, and people development. During his tenure, the team achieved consecutive top national performances, including a 3rd-place overall finish at Formula SAE Michigan in 2025.
The experience reinforced a principle that now permeates his work with M2educate: exceptional outcomes rarely come from talent alone...they emerge when talented people are given structure, ownership, high expectations, and the confidence to execute.
Alexander’s commitment to service and personal development began well before college. He is an Eagle Scout, has performed with the Georgia Boy Choir, and continues to pursue interests in music, including piano and guitar. He has also volunteered with Grace Village Medical Clinic, which provides medical care to uninsured and underserved patients in the Clarkston community. These experiences have exposed him to communities and perspectives far beyond the traditional classroom and have strengthened his belief that education should ultimately prepare students not merely to achieve, but to contribute.
At M2educate, Alexander helps translate that philosophy into the individualized systems, relationships, and opportunities provided to each family. His approach is intentionally modern: understand the whole student, identify what excellence looks like for that individual, and build a deliberate path toward it. Whether working with a student academically, navigating college admissions, preparing for an important examination, or helping a family think more broadly about a child’s development, he believes the most meaningful educational relationships should leave students more capable, more confident, and more intentional than when they began.
